About the Role
Duties
+ Prepare cold foods and ingredients for cooking (weighing, measuring, mixing, portioning, chopping, and storing food)
+ Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items
+ Monitor food quality while preparing food
+ Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance
+ Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Skills & Experience
+ Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery
+ I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
+ Unrestricted working rights for Australia
