Painter Full Time
The Painter is responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, buildings, and other surfaces. This role requires preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and ensuring the application of high-quality, durable finishes. The Painter will work on residential, commercial, or industrial properties and may also be responsible for minor surface repairs.
Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or imperfections.
Remove old paint, rust, or debris as necessary using sandpaper, scraping tools, or chemical removers.
Prime surfaces before applying the final paint or finish.
Paint Application:
Mix and match paint colors to the desired shade and consistency.
Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Ensure even and smooth coverage, avoiding streaks or drips.
Detailing and Touch-Ups:
Perform touch-ups or refinishing where needed, ensuring consistency and a high-quality finish.
