Service Advisor – Automotive Garage

Palestine Garage is a leading automotive service center dedicated to providing high-quality repairs and customer service. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team and help us provide an outstanding experience for our customers.
Job Overview:
As a Service Advisor at our garage, you will be the key point of contact between customers and our service team. You will use your expertise in customer service and automotive knowledge to manage client expectations, coordinate with technicians, and ensure that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in explaining their vehicle service needs and concerns.
Create and manage work orders for vehicles that need repairs or maintenance.
Provide clear and accurate estimates to customers regarding services, parts, and labor.
Communicate effectively with the technicians and laborers on the floor to ensure that services are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Coordinate and schedule vehicle appointments.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and provide updates as needed.
Process customer payments and finalize service records.
Ensure that the garage operates smoothly and efficiently by keeping track of the service process from start to finish.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in an automotive service environment.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and services.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with technicians and manage service floor activities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive service is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with service management software and systems.
Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions.
Ability to upsell services and products to customers.
