Social Media Designer full_time NEW

The Integrated Communications team is responsible for helping to drive and shape positive sentiment and develop community regarding the World protocol. Tasked with creating and managing World’s Integrated Communications efforts (earned and owned), the team oversees everything from community management to earned media and content creation.

What you’ll do: 

• Design and produce social media assets (static assets, animations, video, audio, etc.) for use across a wide variety of social media channels (X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Work with design and other cross-functional teams (marketing, product, policy, etc.) to produce social media assets that are fun, engaging, informative and on-brand
• Edit live-action videos in both short and long form styles for use across all social platforms 
• Combine creativity with brand guidelines and local insights to produce localized content for regional social media channels
• Spot emerging trends and quickly/efficiently turn timeline ideas into actions and assets
• Maintain a robust asset calendar that tracks with global comms calendar and regional announcements to ensure assets are delivered on time
• Prioritize asset production based on business needs and emerging project initiatives as well as trend spotting
• Ensure all social media assets are aligned with the the project’s visual style and overall branding
• Monitor audience engagement with visual assets and adjust strategies to improve performance based on analytics and feedback

• Minimum of 5 years of creative design experience, preferably having worked in a high-output tech or crypto environment
• Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Experience designing and producing a wide range of digital assets (static, illustrated, video, audio)
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and similar design tools 
• Proven ability to produce high-quality, fun and engaging assets quickly and under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Creative thinker who is excited to bring new technologies and trends to life in a visual and engaging way
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a dynamic work environment
• Excellent collaboration skills with a bias towards action and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate asset needs based on the project’s dynamic priorities
• An individual who is open to feedback and can thrive in a startup environment
• Familiarity with World, privacy tech, blockchains or cybersecurity industries is a plus
