Location: JTI Malvar Branch
Reporting to: Department Manager
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Involved in Cigarette case packing/end of line processing and activities.
- Responsible in running/handling the machines independently to produce quality products according to QA specifications with minimum “product ONHOLD” from the machines and achieving the target output with less downtime.
- Ensure to use right materials (such as pallets, ink, sticker , etc.) and within specification before running the equipment. Assures that all material, rejects, output will be accounted properly in accordance to inventory procedure.
- Ensure working environment is safe and take preventive measures by having safety awareness at all circumstances and following safety operation procedures.
- Practice good housekeeping by meeting 5S requirement and practice environmental protection activities. Ensure a clean and tidy workplace as well as adhere to all safety procedures. Maintain machine cleanliness to prevent dust accumulation and beetle infestation.
- Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
YOU ARE:
- High school degree or relevant vocational course is acceptable.
- Has more than 3 years of experience as packer/ case packer operator in Tobacco Industry.
- Must be able to read and write basic English Language
- Good interpersonal skill, able to perform basic mathematics and good basic analytical skill. Able to multitask whenever required, basic technical and computer skills will be an added advantage.
