Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage – Room Service Order Taker is responsible for receiving and processing guest orders for food and beverages in a timely and accurate manner. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring guest satisfaction and delivering high-quality service.

Job Responsibility:
– Take orders from guests over the phone or in person, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests or dietary restrictions.
– Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
– Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions following established procedures.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking items as needed.
– Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of orders.

Candidate Requirements:
– Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.
