Position: Quality Assurance Associate

Reporting: QA & QI Supervisor

Location: Tongi, Gazipur

Position Purpose:

Responsible for establishing and managing material shelf-life control and incoming printed NTM control processes in the factory. The incumbent acts as the Backup Factory Approver to ensure the Change Order Status in SAP being performed by all view maintainer in the factory within 4 days. S/he coordinates quality-related activities for New Product Development (NPD) with R&D and cross-functional departments in the factory. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that quality samples are sent for R&D evaluation on time.

What Will You Do:

• Monitor shelf life and conduct Quality Inspections to ensure FIFO for material consumption. Coordinate Regulatory Compliance for J-SOX/Swiss SOX, reporting on the status of finished goods and tobacco materials. Extend shelf life for NTM and Tobacco materials as per R&D confirmation and JTI guidelines. Report quarterly on Blocked and Restricted-Use stock for write-offs.
• Coordinate internal return material management within the factory.
• Perform Incoming Printed Material Inspections, ensuring color standards are ready one week before new product launches.
• Maintain updated ISO documentation for Quality Assurance procedures and ensure compliance with EHS SOP standards.
• Handle NTM-related complaints and coordinate local PPO actions.
• Ensure timely and properly labeled quality samples to avoid delays and mistakes.
• Prepare and conduct quality training, supporting QI and QC teams as needed.
• Ensure safety measures to maintain ZERO LTI in the factory and perform tasks safely.

We Expect from You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
• Minimum 02 years of experience in Quality Assurance and teamwork.
• Proficient in English, with strong MS Office skills and SAP knowledge.
