As an Account Sales Executive you will:
+ Identify new hotel business (business transient, group, catering) to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
+ Understand the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and know how to sell against them.
+ Close the best opportunities for our hotel based on market conditions and needs.
+ Gain understanding of our hotel’s target customer and service expectations; serve the guest by understanding their needs, issues and concerns.
+ Respond to incoming group/catering opportunities for our hotel; (not only group & catering also transient business as well).
+ Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
+ Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
+ Be attentive and focused on guests’ needs, while assisting them and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their event.
+ Partners with Event Management and/or Operations to ensure a customer experience that exceeds guests expectations.
+ Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
+ Attend pre- and post-convention meetings to understand group needs, obtain feedback on quality of product (e.g., rooms, meeting facilities and equipment, food and beverage), service levels and overall satisfaction.
+ Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
+ Develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for group/catering sales opportunities.
Our most successful Account Sales Executive is someone who has:
+ Excellent communication skills, in both English and Romanian (verbal, listening, writing);
+ At least 3 years’ experience in proactive sales;
+ Previous experience in the hospitality industry, especially in the sales segment;
+ Great negotiation skills and creative selling abilities;
+ Computer skills and ability to use standard software applications;
+ Strong planning and organizing skills, ability to drive results and ensure high standards in operations;
+ Strong problem-solving and effective decision-making skills;
+ Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., employees, guests;
+ Effective influence skills and good negotiation skills.
