JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Revenue Management Support leads the Revenue Analysis function for the Managed by Marriott Select Brand portfolio in a specified region(s) within the US and Canada. The position will partner with the Senior Director, Revenue Management MxM MSB to ensure proper strategies are in place to optimize hotel revenues. In addition, the position will develop and/or use analytical tools and systems to analyze opportunities to maximize profit and performance. The role contributes to regional level strategic initiatives, evaluates effectiveness of strategies, and produces analysis of revenue and profit trends.
The role will work closely with both RMAS (Revenue Management Advisory Services) and the MxM Revenue Management Cluster teams.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
+ Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management strategies and processes at both the individual hotel and MxM MSB regional level.
+ Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and support a variety of stakeholders including General Managers, Revenue Managers, RMAS Leadership, MxM MSB Cluster Leadership, MxM MSB Area Directors of Operations, MxM MSB Area Vice Presidents, as well as MxM MSB Sales, Marketing, and Finance Leaders.
+ Works closely with the Vice President, MSB MxM Revenue Management and Sr. RM Leaders to establish long-range objectives for individual hotels and portfolios and design the strategic initiatives and actions to achieve them.
+ Provides support, compiles data, and offers expertise to assist MxM MSB RM Leadership in presentations to key internal and external stakeholders (MI Senior Leadership; hotel ownership and asset management, etc.).
+ Explores opportunities that drive profit, achieve revenue goals, and improve market share; encourages innovation; challenges existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.
+ Conducts audits to ensure proper inventory management practices are in place to optimize revenues in distribution, inventory, and yield management systems.
+ Provides revenue analysis functional expertise to key stakeholders and develops key stakeholder relationships.
+ Extracts and analyzes data to identify trends and draw viable/actionable business conclusions.
+ Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
+ Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to all stakeholders in the form of reporting, presentations, etc.
+ Partners with discipline leaders to facilitate annual MxM MSB processes including Budget and Pricing.
+ Develops potential direct reports to successfully perform their job; communicates performance expectations and monitors progress to ensure desired results are produced.

CANDIDATE PROFILE – KEY TALENTS and EXPERIENCE DESIRED
+ Strong Marriott Revenue Management Leadership experience (2-3+ years Leadership experience preferred)
+ Mastery of both the technical and strategic functions of Revenue Management (Inventory Mgmt, Revenue Analysis, Business Evaluation, and Market Strategy).
+ Proficiency in current pricing and yield management systems, processes, and principles.
+ Strong data analysis skills, including querying and manipulation data using applications such as Excel. Tableau skills are beneficial.
+ Excellent project management skills, with ability to independently manage multiple projects.
+ Team player: builds strong relationships and collaborates with regional and corporate stakeholders.
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
+ Ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it to Senior Management and ownership in a clear, concise, and complete manner while exhibiting executive decision making.
+ Teamwork – Skilled at promoting a cohesive team environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of an effective team.
+ Building Credible Relationships – Demonstrates self-confidence and capable oof building credibility among peers
The salary range for this position is $98,500 to $141,700 annually.
In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
